The World’s Largest Fountain Is Launching On Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah

The Palm Fountain is at The Pointe

Dubai’s The Pointe, Nakheel Mall is preparing to launch the world’s largest fountain and break Guinness World Records title during an inaugural launch event, which will be open to the public.

The Pointe’s Palm Fountains open on October 22nd and claim to be the world’s tallest fountain. At their peak, the fountains will shoot water more than 100m into the air. And yes, they’ll be even larger than the Dubai Mall fountains, which were previously the biggest.

The fountain will find its spot at one of Dubai’s posh lifestyle and dining destinations called the Pointe. Sprawling over 14000 sq ft of seawater, the fountain’s super shooter will be 105 m tall. Not only this, it will be covered in more than 3000 LED lights!

It will have 20 bespoke shows and five different shows that will run on a daily basis between sunset and midnight (7 PM to 12 AM). A wide range of popular songs including Khaleeji, pop, classic, international and more will be played during these fountain shows, with a 3-minute performance every 30 minutes.

Shaddy Gaad, Senior Marketing Manager – MENA, Guinness World Records, added: “This is a great addition to Dubai’s long list of attractions that make this city iconic. GWR is in the process of verifying the Largest fountain and we look forward to hopefully seeing this world-class landmark being declared Officially Amazing.”
